Reverand Eddie Reeves
​
Rev. Eddie Reeves was born in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was raised in Evanston, Illinois from an early age and is a product of the Evanston Public School System and is a graduate of the New Orleans Public School System. He attended Chicago Baptist Institute and Moody Bible School.

Rev. Reeves acknowledged his call to the ministry in 1986 and under the Pastoral Leadership of Rev. Dr. Clay Evans, former Pastor of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Chicago, IL. where he was licensed. He was formally ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1988. While active as an Associate Minister at Fellowship, he also served as a Sunday School Teacher for the Young Adult Division until his departure in 2000.

Since leaving Fellowship M. B. Church, he has assisted in various other
ministries in and around the Evanston community as Sunday School teacher and on the Board of Directors for Oasis Christian Ministries International and Higher Rock Christian Ministries. He and his wife joined First Church of God Christian Life Center in April 2017.

He is currently employed by the Evanston/Skokie School District 65. Rev. Reeves is happily married to
Rev. Jacqueline Green-Reeves. They have three beautiful children, Brandon, Caristen and Brianna.
