Mission Statement:

To provide spiritual shelter, by means of Biblical-based counseling, to individuals who desire to be made whole.


Safe Haven is a Biblically based, Christian Counseling ministry at First Church of God Christian Life Center.  As a result, more than ever there is a need for Godly counsel in the body of Christ. God desires for the believer to be made whole and for the fragmented pieces of our lives to be put back together in a more excellent way. As a result, Safe Haven has been created to bridge the gap between God and man through wise counsel.

Our vision is to foster a safe environment where individuals can come and rest in the presence of God, to receive counsel in a non-judgmental manner.  “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14 KJV).

Moreover, the main objective is wholeness in every area of one’s life. This can only be accomplished by directing the people of God back to their heavenly father, who is the only one that can bring reconciliation, restoration, as well as healing into their collective lives.  God desires this more than ever, and we recognize this.

As Godly counselors this can only be accomplished through the direction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us into all truth. God loves us and is concerned about every area our lives, but the question is, “Do you want to be made whole?”
